rebateshq claiming that upc invalid but is not

In Early January 2008, I submitted a claim to RebatesHQ for a rebate on 4 Hitachi 1tb Harddrives, After 5 weeks, I received an email from rebateshq claiming my rebate is invalid due to invalid upc. I am unable to contact a live person at RebatesHq and I am 100% sure that my rebate information was not only correctly submitted, but also easily read and understood. I sent them the form that they requested, I sent them all four upc numbers, I made sure that I sent the originals, I made sure that I satisfied all their requirements. Their explanation for it being declined was "invalid upc" no further information. I guess they are planning on keeping my $120. I am not sure how this will play out, but at the very least, they have made yet another dissatisfied consumer doubt their integrity.

I've had the same thing happened to me twice with Rebateshq. I sent the original UPCs in and only found they were invalid. Luckily I always made copies of everything I submitted. I contacted them and had to resend them copies of the UPCs that I sent in. Watch out, RebatesHQ WILL do everything they can to invalidate your submission!!! Therefore, always keep a copy of everything you submit to them!!!
